Mr.DV,
Did you play the Uchida piano recording via the Virtu system? Field coil drivers deliver unprecedented microdynamics with ease and a rich texture to die for. That was my experience with just one mid range antique field coil driver. But what you have is a complete array of original field coil drivers made nowadays by people that who know the stuff well. In comparison, compression driver has the details and the speed but not the ease. |

The Full Da Vinci System - the only one in Asia. I will not write too much about it. Let Mr.DV tell us how he feels.

In order to use the Virtu, a pair of mono driver must be installed to complete a 3-stage amplification design. This is the modern equivalent of System 41, 42, 43 made by Western Electric in the old days.

Mr.DV, Peter and our Chief of Staff tried very hard to lift up the Virtu. The Virtu is extremely heavy, don't be deceived by the look of open baffle design.
